I got a new Citizen EcoDrive watch as a gift recently, and I just have to tell the world how awesome it is! The model that I got was a Black Eagle Skyhawk. I have not worn a watch for many years, basically since I got my cell phone. But let's face it, how cool is it to look at your cell phone for the time? I mean, everyone does it!

But when my friend bought this for me, I started to wear it constantly, and find that I really enjoy having such a finely crafted piece of machinery at my disposal all the time! It is such a great conversation piece, too. I love gadgets, and this thing is loaded with them. It has:

-Time zones
-Timers
-Analog/Digital settings
-a really sweet "black ion plated case
-a slide rule bezel (??? i think i remember my dad talking about them)
-and a really cool function that uses "light as fuel"

Remember the Eli Manning commercials? "Unstoppable!" Well, that is one of the really great aspects of this watch. You never need to change a battery! and it doesn't rely on your movement, so it won't go dead if you leave it lying on your dresser, unless of course you bury it under dirty laundry... it will use any source of light to charge itself.

I really thought that watches were a thing of the past, but now I'm a believer... don't go out and buy just any old cheap watch, get yourself a REAL timepiece!
